To offer a satisfactory stay to our cycling guests, Monnaber Nou has its own Bike Station. Adequate and quality to save, fix and clean the bicycles with route information of the area and all without any cost.

But the basic point is that, Monnaber Nou, is open all year, thanks to its enviable location, it´s an ideal starting point for cyclists from around the world who come to Mallorca to practice their favorite sport. Located is one of the gateways of the Natural Heritage Sierra de Tramuntana and right on one of the cycling routes that crosses the island from East to West. (Pollensa-Andratx)

Description: Hard route starting in Monnaber. Visit the hardest clibs of the island (Puig Major and Sa Calobra). Long day, arround 6 hours. If you need more, you can up from Lloseta to Alaró, up Tofla, and when you arrive in Alaró, up to Orient.
Coffe break: You can divert the route and visit Cycling Planet Alaró, Mirador de ses Barques (puig major ascent), Coll de sa Batalla.

Ascent: 650 mtrs
Description: Easy route combining flat and mountains in the central part. Starts in Monnaber hotel riding in a valley with a lot of wineries and farmhouses. When you arrive at Pollença, go to Puerto Pollença and then, to Formentor mountains. You can stop in the first viewpoint, but if you have like the special places go up to Sa Talaia d’Albercutx and enjoy these fantastic place. Come back with the same route. You can drink a coffee in Puerto Pollensa or take a dip in Puerto Pollença beach. This route have a lot of variants, and you can arrive to Formentor, come back visiting Alcudia and Sa Pobla…

Description: Hard route for beginners, and soft for expert mountain bikers. Starts in Monnaber and ride 10km with easy roads. In Caimari starts the mountain bike part. Be careful on descents.
Coffe break: You can divert the route and visit Cycling Planet Alaró, Mirador de ses Barques (puig major ascent), Coll de sa Batalla.

Start point: The start point is on Hotel Monnaber Nou, but you can also follow the route starting to any village on the track.
Recommended bike: Giant TCR, Trek Madone 2.3, Cervélo S3
Ascent: 1450 mtrs
Description: Puig de Santa Llucia: 1.7km 6% (Mancor). You can skip it but we recommend because is not very popular but is beautiful and quiet. - Tofla: 1.5km 6% (Lloseta). Classic explosive climb. Easy start and steep end. - Orient (Alaró side): 6.9km 4% (Alaró). Fantastic climb, that ends in a mountain valley (Orient). Is not a difficult climb but have a surprise on the second part (past Orient). Be careful with the corners in the descent to Bunyola because sometimes there are humidity and the grip is not the best.
Coffe break: Cycling Planet in Alaró is a great cycling coffee owned by David Muntaner (World track champion) and Albert Muntaner. In the coffee you can enjoy of the cycling atmosphere, and repair the bicycle or buy some components. Another popular coffee breaks on the route are Orient or Bunyola (Main Square is the most popular place).
